We all look for that element of surprise in our books -- something that makes people WANT to turn the page.
Where do you go for inspiration when you just can't find the right 'hook', the right 'scene', or the right whatever that you need to move the book forward. Do you pop in a favorite movie, settle down with the TV remote control, consult a favorite book?
What do you find that helps you with that recalcitrant scene?
