My DH is known for his sausage sandwiches, so much so that whenever his work group has a potluck, he's roped into making them. These are onion, peppers, sausage, sauce all on a big bun -- not sure what the 'official' name for them is, but I call them the 'stink up the house' sandwiches. I've set down a rule: you can prep in the house, but the crockpot simmering has to be done out in the garage (it simmers for about 8 hours).
Do you have a 'go-to' dish that you make which others all crave? Is there something that, when there's a family get-together or a potluck, they say, 'Oh, please bring X, it's so great?'
