Vacation

Holidays are such hard work. I don't do them, if I can help it, especially the beach holiday. I don't tan well and the inactivity drives me nuts.
Home isn't a holiday, and sometimes you do have to get away. I'd much rather visit friends, go to a conference or go to an exciting city to have some fun and see the sights.
Or write. Writing is a holiday. You get to see the world through somebody else's eyes, go and do something different and experience things you've never, or could never, get to experience any other way!
