Gearing up for holidays ...

Now that Halloween is past (thank goodness! that has become such a fuss here in the States), it's time to look ahead. In the States, we have the annual Feast of All Food (Thanksgiving) followed by Chistmas. Lynne, do you have a Thanksgiving equivalent in November in Britain?

For all of us ... think ahead. Name one favorite tradition you have around the Thanksgiving holiday. Just one, mind you!

P.S. Posting early because I am off to the casino to gamble and brainstorm books this weekend. Offline until Monday .. happy happy joy joy!

If you think about it, you'll know why we don't have Thanksgiving! (although some of us think we should be grateful!)

We do have Guy Fawkes Night on 5th November, which is when we celebrate the man who knew exactly what to do with Parliament - blow it up! Lots of fireworks and its other name is Firework Night.
