Lynne Connolly

Hmmm.

Anyway, I'm Lynne Connolly. I write paranormal romance under that name,
and historical romance under the name Lynne Martin. I'm delighted to
say that after a short lull, the historical romance seems to be making
a comeback. I love writing it and reading it.

I have two and a half (!) historical books with Triskelion. SEASON OF
STORMS, set in the Georgian era, with paranormal elements, WICKED
INTENTIONS, a Georgian set historical romance about a young woman on
the run who has to hide in a brothel, and BLACK LEATHER, WHITE LACE,
two novellas about two brother ghosts, one of which is set in the
Regency era.

As Lynne Connolly, I wrote two Summoning books, THE CHEMISTRY OF EVIL
and ETERNAL BEAUTY, ETERNAL DARKNESS, the third Curse of the Midnight
Star story, THE HAUNTING, and two series, the Department 57 series, and
the new Wildfire series.

The Department 57 series has two books out so
far, and lots more to come, including next month's RUBIES OF FIRE.

The first book in the series, JEWEL OF THE DRAGON is about a
shapeshifting dragon and his struggle to save his lady from the evil
organisation that has her in its claws, and A GRIFFINS TREASURE, about a European
footballer (think Beckham!) in San Francisco, searching for his missing
brother, who finds his love in the most unexpected place. RUBIES OF
FIRE, the third in the series, is due out in February, and the next
book, DIAMONDS OF ICE will follow. James Bond with fangs, feathers and
claws!

Wildfire is a series of four, set in the same world as the Department
57 series, about a band of shapeshifting rock stars. There will be four
books in this series, one for each member of the band. The first,
WILDFIRE, was released in November, 2006, and is doing rather well. Which is
really pleasing, because it means I can write the others, and I love
this series. Less James Bond, more Jimmy Page with feathers and claws!
