List of Lists...

I make lists. Lots of them.
.
Do I follow them?
.
That's another story. But if I were, I'd be the most organized woman I know. Thank heavens for spreadsheets.
.
I have a household cleaning list.
.
To Do list.
.
Shopping List: Organized by row, since I don't like to backtrack.
.
Movie List: Have I seen that one yet? Sometimes I forget that I've seen a movie.
.
Book List: I have two of those. One for the books I've read this year and if I like that author and want to read their next book. One for the books I own, and how much they cost, by whom, year, reference or fiction, and who recommended them.
.
I have a Menu planner. Monday is for leftovers, Tuesdays are Chicken, etc. If I have a certain recipe, then I notate that.
.
Gifts in my gift closet.
.
Event Planning: This covers the holidays, what I cook, and a complete time schedule. Why not use what you learn and repeat a good process.
.
DVD's: What we own, who's in it, year, etc. Plus the cost.
.
Inventory: I know when I bought my patio furniture, where, it's name if any, and cost.
.
You might be wondering about the 'cost' I keep mentioning. Well, if I ever need to make an insurance claim, I have some of the work done already.
.
Our financial statement. The bank wants an updated copy of that every year or so.
.
Then comes the health stuff. My weight, need to lose some poundage, blood sugar, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Plus how much water I drink in a day. So far, I'm behind for the day.
.
Then a list of my medications, my physicians want a copy whenever I make an appointment, and it's easier to crank out a copy instead of writing it all down, yet again.
.
Then there is my medical history. What with having cancer, I need to keep track of when my appointments are, with whom, date, what was done, etc. I have some insurance papers I need to fill out and this is a great way of keeping track. When they ask you questions, like, when was your last menstral cycle, I'm totally clueless. But I most probably wouldn't put that here, but it was a question I was asked. So, it might have been worthwhile to note it.
.
That's in one spreadsheet. Different tabs, but one spreadsheet.
.
I won't go into my writing spreadsheet, it's still a work in progress.

Wow. I bow to your list-ness. I really should do a few of these (medical, etc.) but I don't. I rely on random memory and my Palm Pilot for that.
