These are a few of my Dreadful things

Things I dread, hmm, let me see, how can I narrow this down? I dread any medical procedure which requires me to fast. I dread calls which come in the middle of the night - they are never good news. I dread having to tell someone else bad news. I dread nausea. I still angst over rejection letters and reviews. I dread opening the door and finding a law officer there - not that I've done anything wrong, just that again they rarely bring good news. Oh! Remembered another one. I dread being in a social situation and having to eat a bit of something I abhore to be polite. I also dread opening bills from doctors as I have a very high deductible. I dread the spotlights in my ceiling needing new light bulbs. I dread the insanity that goes along with Christmas. And there are times I dread opening gifts. I don't surprise well.

There may be more things I dread, but I'm going to keep those to myself for now.

Have a dread-free week!

Wow. I define 'dread' in a far more narrow sense: something I *KNOW* is coming down the pike and which I'd rather avoid. Things like "police officer at the door" aren't on my radar screen -- your radar sweeps far wider than mine!
